We now stock 4″ x 4″ solid colors of our handmade cement tile in black, white and grey. These smaller tiles work great for kitchen backsplashes, bathrooms, shower floors and bar areas. They also look amazing when mixed together with our larger 8″ or 12″ solid cement tiles and coordinate with many of our most popular patterns. The possibilities are endless!
I was super exciting. The moment I entered I felt welcomed. They had a great selection, beautiful designs, great colors to choose from, and not to mention great customer service. It felt like I was back in Morocco. I decided to go with intricate Fassi design tiles, which represented the true Moroccan beauty as well as it would brighten up my kitchen. For the flooring, the Sala sheets composed of 2x2 inch Moroccan tiles in the color bone looked remarkable.
All patterns depicted are available as custom tile using our South Beach Collection color palette. You can ensure availability and choose your own colors with custom tile if your schedule can permit 10-14 weeks for production and delivery. While our custom tile does have a slightly different price schedule, pricing is similar, and sometimes lower with custom tile. Custom tile requires a 50 square foot minimum order (small order fees may apply below 100 square feet).
Concrete floor tiles get their unmatched durability from their age-old recipe of marble powder, cement, sand, and color pigment that is poured into molds for shaping and then compressed under 2,000 pounds of pressure. They typically aren’t machine manufactured on a large scale, but are each made by hand, by a talented artisan with generational ties to the trade.

not typically a fan of shades of green, we decided to begin to collect emerald-colored images onto a pinboard to see if they continued to capture our curiosity. we can’t believe it’s already managed to become one of our favorite pinboards. inspired by these beautiful images we have added green colorways to many of our cement patterns and even our watermark! who knew shades of green would capture us and our clients curiosity in such a big way?
Rustico Tile and Stone cement tiles can be used in residential and commercial applications including, but not limited to: hand-crafted tile flooring, wall tile, stair tile, backsplash tile, ceiling tile, on counter tops, as swimming pool tile and pool decking tile, and as fountain tile. They can be used indoors and outdoors. Cement tiles lend themselves to architectural styles such as Spanish colonial, Santa Fe, Moorish, Minimalist, Contemporary, Rustic, and Mediterranean.
Then it was my turn! This was my first time installing cement tiles and I found it to be…well…pretty easy. I used an acrylic, pre-mixed tile adhesive (mostly because I’m lazy and HATE mixing up mortar) and a trowel with large teeth. Per the tile manufacturer’s instructions, I cleaned the back of each tile prior to laying them on the adhesive. Cement tiles are heavier than any tiles I’ve worked with before, so I put extra care into making sure the backing was evenly applied with large grooves from the trowel. I don’t want any of these suckers popping off the wall and falling into a pot of stew when I finally get the chance to cook in this kitchen!
One of the most classic cement tile designs is the intricate floral or Moorish pattern. This look dates back to the early 20th century and is just as popular today. The options for this type of traditional pattern are endless, ranging from colorful and bright to serene and neutral. Depending on the style of your home, you can add a unique flair to your kitchen with backsplash cement tile.
I can only say please if you're looking for the most beautiful tiles that take you back to the most beautiful tales of the orient or want to combine class and trend go to no other than Zellij Gallery. Their selection is unbelievably large. Tiles are a dream, each and every slack is truly a piece of art. I came here today to upgrade my sink in my guest bathroom and I am leaving with wanting to redo my outside patio and pool area into a marrocan themed dream with alternating colors of deep blue green and white. I am very impressed by the customer care I received and couldn't help myself and leave this review . The owner was very patient with me and listened to my exact vision and wishes. Thank you so much for working with me as well as on the price. Great place. Love it.

This series of solid-colored encaustic tiles was created so that there’s always something to perfectly coordinate with any patterned encaustic. Use encaustic dark-grey cement tiles alone to make a monochromatic statement or mix and match with other solids and patterns to design a unique room. Even the solid colors of these wall and floor tiles will have natural variation and interest because they are hand mixed before being poured.
We also regret using cement tiles. They look great on day 1, but even properly sealed they stain. We are very careful with our tiles, but inevitably something will happen. Once we accidentally dripped toilet bowl cleaner on the floor and they literally bleached the tile, even though it was cleaned immediately. Also, we have a floating toilet and there is a definite urine stain below the bowl for all the times guests "miss". This does not come out even with some good scrubbing. The recommended solution for stains is to sand and reseal the floor. I don't mind a "lived in" look, but I certainly don't like pee stains and drip marks from each time I accidentally spill something. And I am certainly not planning to sand and seal my bathroom floor every one or two years, per the manufacturers suggestions.
It is expected that 2%-3% of your tile arrives damaged (chipped or scratched), since our tiles are primarily handmade, hand picked and hand packed exposing the product to breakage, therefore slight surface issues are standard. The best practice is to order at least 10% more than your project requirements to cover allow for these issues, as well as other breakage during installation.
