Mid-tier TV

TCL 6-Series

This is a sweet place for most TV buyers, where you will find great technology and good interface at a relatively low price.

The TCL 6-Series (9/10, WIRED Recommends) has been our favorite TV for most people for years in a row, and we’re still going with this great 2020 model. It has a mini LED backlight for advanced black levels and a very usable Android TV interface, which makes everything from downloading apps to casting from your phone. This deal is also available at Walmart.

If you want something a little bigger than the TCL above, this model from Samsung is a solid option. I like that it has Alexa in it, so you can set the timer and ask for the weather. (If you don’t want to use it, you can turn off Alexa.)

The best TV in the 5-Series ড 500. You get a Quantum Dot display, an Android TV interface and Alexa compatibility. Also, the included voice remote makes it easy to search for your favorite content.

The big screen

Looking for a huge screen to watch your favorite party or TV show? These are two good options.

The Quantum Dot technology inside this 75-inch Samsung makes it bright and vibrant, perfect for large living rooms with windows. I also like the center pedestal stand, which lets the giant TV fit into a standard size TV console.

Sony is another maker of large-sized TVs, and it comes with an built-in Android TV, and Alexa compatibility for easy searching. It features Sony’s great MotionFlow XR technology, which helps clear high-speed objects like players and balls while watching the game and all onscreen actions while gaming.

After a long-term upgrade? Here are the best deals on the most beautiful TVs on the market.

It’s Samsung’s 4K flagship, and it’s a wonderfully beautiful looking TV (8/10, wired). Mini LED backlighting company teamed up with NeoQLED Quantum dot technology to make it one of the best screens we see in bright rooms (and one of the best seen in the dark).

If you have a dark room for it (or no room at all), the C1 is the most beautiful TV I’ve seen this year (8/10, wired recommendation). It’s also amazing for gamers, thanks to HDMI 2.1 input and a 120-Hz refresh rate that provides ultra-smooth motion onscreen.
