If you have points and miles you don’t know what to do with, donating your rewards to charity is a good way to support causes that are close to your heart. However, it’s unusual to find a credit card that earns extra points, miles, or cash back for making charitable donations.
Right now, there’s a rare opportunity to earn bonus United miles for making qualifying donations with a United credit card. In honor of Black History Month, Chase, United Airlines, and Visa are offering cardholders 5x miles when they donate to select non-profit organizations that provide access to educational opportunities for Black students and support civil rights policies.
