Yeah I differently wasted my 20s….
I've done 3 solo road trips so far and have more in the planning. There's a lot to be said for solo travel!!! I'm not brave enough to travel solo to a foreign country though. I think of the language barrier, difference in currency and food. Think I'll stay with the U.S.; there's a lot to see in our backyard ๐
I am so beyond happy that I came across this video. Iโve never been outside of the US and I am traveling to Scotland next year solo. I am excited but also extremely nervous. I hope it will be life changing. Thank you for this video!
Youโre absolutely right that most people are decent. Itโs actually a selfless belief to grasp that. Iโll definitely check out the rest of your videos. Good luck with your channel!

Love traveling and solo trips are always awesome. Thanks for the tips, could definitely use these tips during my next travel.
Iโm actually traveling from Los Angeles , to San Francisco for the first time by myself. Pretty excited and nervous!
Once you go solo, the idea of having to plan a trip with someone else seems annoying. I absolutely love this. I solo travel all the time (over 30 countries and counting). The best places to go to meet people are hostels and events. Always google the latest scams in the area (especially on transportation). I went a trip by myself to Strasbourg, France on Saturday and it filled my energy cup. I got to cafe-sit, people-watch, eat churros and take in the scenery without distraction. I have a fiance whom I adore and long to be close to and fully supports my trips alone and we enjoy trips together. Solo travel is normal for a lot of people. Don't be discouraged by the naysayers. xxSafe Travelsxx
Wait don't cut the gym membership you wanna look good for your trip ๐
Thank you so much for making this video. It was really helpful ๐.
Iโm always traveling alone since I donโt have a lot of friends and no one ever wants to travel with me
I still have a blast wherever I go though ๐
Thanks for the great tips! I have solo traveled in the US but not yet internationally – but it's a goal for 2022 ๐
P.S. I'm a new subscriber. I'll be watching as many of your videos as I can. ๐ Thank you!
Hi Haley, how are you going? I hope you're well. I was wondering, how do you relax, while keeping your guard up? I thought that if someone relaxes, they are less aware of what's going on around them. Am I wrong?
I've been to 8 countries solo ๐ doing other two this winter break from school!
Planning to solo travel after graduating nursing school! So excited!!! โฅ๏ธ
Something I'll note for those of us who are chronically ill, you can definitely solo travel with a roller suitcase! (Backpacks often cause my body to flare up) just use a "bigger carry on" suitcase and you can roll it without putting stress on your shoulders. Solo travel is possible even if you aren't super healthy friends!
Good Tips!
I get scared of people taking advantage of me or getting kidnapped or robbed. Or someone takes my identity stuff and I'm stuck in the country. But I did like how you said that there are a lot of decent people. Makes me feel a little better
Thank you so much for this video. So much of us are solo traveling and it can be super nerve-wracking! Your tips are awesome and I will keep them in mind on my next solo trip! We are a travel-based channel. Feel free to check us out!

I'm writing an article about trouble during travelling watching your videos
God bless you Haley.Take care in your travel.
On Saturday I am leaving for France. I will be going to a yoga retreat for three weeks but first I have to get there from Germany. It might not be as adventurous as going from city to city but it is a huge step for me. First get to Lyon, find the hostel, check out the city, get back to the hostel and the next day find the place where I am supposed to take the bus/train. Way too much excitement for 2 days.
Once I manage doing this alone, I will try to do another trip at some point ๐
u need to get a job instead trying to get attention

Good common sense tips espec for safety. So true, our home turf can be just as dangerous as most other places in the world – we're just familiar with it so we FEEL safe (that's not to say it is safe but you can't allow that to stop you from living life – just need to stay alert)
Great advice. How much money (USD) do you recommend to have to start out?
really helpful. ty
Yes! I travelled to South Korea for 3 months as my first solo travel and will definitely be doing many many more!

Where do you make friends? If you're staying at a hotel
Exactly it is my approach, do not make any plans and decide in a place. Only difference is – I like be alone, even without a phone.
