About 40 Kenyan travel and hospitality trade stakeholders were among the over 5000 tourism trade exhibitors at the just concluded world travel market in London. The Kenyans were part of the annual pilgrimage to the market for stakeholders who were meeting to discover and negotiate the latest travel industry trends and opinions, at the WTM, one of the largest tourism fair in the world. The Kenyan delegation has been riding on the positive news that Kenya has recorded in the recent past including key international events and high profile personalities that the country has hosted to profile the destination leading to a17.2 % growth in arrivals in 2015. WTM was also used as a platform to announce the reviewed conservation fees by the Kenya wildlife service (KWS) whose rates have been exempted from16% vat.
