Nathan does a ridiculous amount of research on each place we travel (he geeks out on it and loves to find the “best of the best,” esp. local favorites that are more hard to find). He always saves his notes in a spreadsheet, and uses it to help family/friends plan trips. Now we’re helping our friends we meet online! Email us if you’re interested or have any questions.

OUR STORY
Hey! We’re Olivia and Nathan 👋🏽 A couple from California.

We met back in 2014 in Monterey, California. I (Olivia) was a senior in college & Nathan had recently moved back to the area after living in Italy.

After a few “deep life talks” (ones that were so foreign to me) and hearing about the lifestyle Nathan had been creating for himself for the last 6 years, I wanted to spend more time with him.

We started dating and I learned how he’d moved to Cambodia when he was 17, Germany when he was 18, Italy when he was 20, and was itching to travel again.

I was fascinated and wondered HOW THE HECK DID THIS GUY PAY FOR ALL OF THAT?

Nathan would work in California for 2 years, save every dollar he could, move abroad, find a job in that country, live there for 1-2 years and then do it all over again. Each time, he’d learn the language of that country, acquire new skills & make lifelong friends.

I was deeply inspired & wanted to travel with him. After 1 year of working our butts off and saving every dollar we could, we moved to Australia. We lived + worked there for 3 years (learned to speak perfect Australian lol) & created online jobs so we could continue traveling full-time.

We were traveling South America when covid hit, flew home and bought an RV to travel the US.

Down to earth, entertaining, and informative is our goal — we want you to feel like you’re experiencing the day with us.

Welcome to ON World Travel 🤙🏽

  1. Loved watching this wrap-up. I'm a single guy getting out of the Navy after 8 years of service next year, and am thinking about just travelling for about 8 months until settling down into college on the GI Bill in Fall of 2023. This video really gave me inspiration and plenty of helpful tips that I'll be using when I get out on the road. Cheers.

  2. Great recap guys! I’m a new subscriber and I wish the you tube algorithms would have taken me here sooner. You guys are doing a great job with your channel and the info you are putting out. I look forward to your cost/budget video.👍👍

  3. From someone with 30 yrs of RV experience when you upgrade your truck just go with a 1 ton SRW you don’t need the dually if your RV isn’t crazy big and the cost is minimal compared to a 3/4 ton.

  4. Hey guyssss thank you so much! I’m planning to do this solo with my daughter! I am also moving all the way from Puerto Rico!!! Crazy challenge or what??😹😹😹😹 thank you so much for such amazing videos. I’m learning so so so so so much with you. I got around 6 months to keep learning. I appreciate it a lot!!!! I would love to see videos on security!!!!!!

  5. We’re in month 6 of full time rv living and we’ve never felt more understood! Our journey has been very similar and working full time in a 20’ RV is no joke. But the experiences and adventures are so worth it! Cheers to making it 1 year and hope to see you on the road someday 🍻😀

  6. I love your channel! Your journey has brought so much joy and happiness! I love every video you both make, thank you so much for a year of adventures! Also I just got a predator generator recently mainly because I liked your video. hugs thanks for your positive attitudes and sharing this amazing experience!

  7. Thank you for all the info. I recently purchased my first travel trailer and im always traveling the United States with my girlfriend. What source of income do you guys have while always being on the road and working from a computer????

  8. I’ve learned so much from you guys this past year. My wife and I plan to jump into the RV life upon my transition out of the military. Keep up the great work and know that people are rooting for you guys.

  9. Incredibly informative. Thank you guys so much! My wife and I are planning to do full time RV life for a year or two.

Watching your videos has been inspirational and informative and we can’t wait to get on the road!

  10. At least your campervan didn't stall out in the middle of a construction zone , in Colorado Springs while in the construction zone there was a five car wreck ahead of us..long story short,my wife pushed our campervan with our dodge ram past..at least five police cars that were dealing with the wreck ,up an off ramp around a corner that was a steep up hill to the Harley Davison dealership. That was the second time our van stalled out in Colorado..out of the five times our van stalled out on the road…we also never boondocked..koa's is mainly were we stayed and I have ever de winterized our rig from when I bought it. And Austin is weird 😕 I think we did a whole video on that. Safe travels ✌

  11. This is super informative guys ! My wife and I after years of considering made the decision to attempt the rv life our selves. Early September of next year we hope to be on the road ! Possibly earlier if circumstances allow us !

  12. Thank you. For this research , I worked in Jeffersonville Indiana, shepherdsville Kentucky, Mishawaka indiana and Elkhart indiana. Elkhart indiana is the capital of RV. I meet Amish family that spoke spanish. I remember them asking me, do you cook Mexicano food? Yes, I made them green salsa, tortillas . They had rules on what they can eat, but this was the basisc. I was in shepherdsville Kentucky hiked the Appalachia mountains that was nice. I plan to travel as nomad. I am computer tech, all I need is connection to work. Thank you. Did you notice McDonald’s and walmart every 30 miles max… I found costco, here and there. But walmart is networked together which was intresting.. Downey California

  13. Such a great list! We started full time in August 2021 and feel like y’all are us in a year or we are y’all a year ago 😂 lots to learn and to see yet. I appreciate this list reflection buys internet extension
