Quebec’s liquor licensing board on Wednesday reminded bar owners and other liquor license holders that the return on Sunday to Standard Time means that the last call in their establishments will, on that one occasion, be extended by 60 minutes.

“At 2 a.m … Sunday, Nov. 7 … we return to Eastern Standard Time and turn back our clocks by an hour,” the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux announced in a communiqué , adding that bars, restaurants and other licensed establishments would be able to sell alcoholic beverages for an additional hour.

The Régie noted, however, that the health regulations in force during the pandemic for establishments under its jurisdiction remained in effect.
