Three Bay Area residents arrested following police pursuit on I-80

Three people, one of them from Vallejo, were arrested earlier this week following a freeway pursuit through Solano.

According to the Solano County Sheriff’s Office, the Solano County Auto Theft Task Force was notified Tuesday of a stolen vehicle headed east on Interstate 80.

The stolen truck was spotted and a traffic stop was attempted. The driver sped off, officials said, leading law enforcement on a chase through Fairfield, Vacaville and Dixon.

The driver subsequently parked in front a house, officials said, and the suspects — two men and a woman — took off running.

The California Highway Patrol’s Air 37 was overhead and Vacaville police officers were also in the area.

Dixon police also assisted, along with several Sheriff’s teams.

Arrested on suspicion of numerous charges and booked into Solano County Jail were Kevin Joseph DeCarlo, 25, of Vallejo; Kayla Tindall, 29, of Bethel Island; and Edward Joseph Garofalo, 34, of Martinez.
