This Pocket LED Video Light is one of our favorite tools for creating studio-grade video at home. Despite its compact size it becomes significantly brighter and provides multiple colors and effects. You can match the color temperature to your lighting conditions, or tap the effect to mimic a lightning strike. It mounts your camera through a cool shoe.
It’s not as bright as the bowling above, but this Aputure video light is magnetic, so it can easily attach to different surfaces for mounting. It has lots of effects and color options and you can recharge it via USB-C or a Qi wireless charger.

This stand is very stable, and the edges of the clamps are twice as cold as a shoe mount, so you can attach a microphone and a compact video light for a complete on-the-go studio. Our only regret is that you can’t adjust the height.
If you are standing directly in front of your camera, a shotgun mic would be one of the best ways to record audio. The god fits it with a shoe mount on top of a camera. Just plug it in, and you’re ready to go. It does a great job of picking audio and if you roll it like this, it will plug in to your phone as well.

This is our top camera backpack for most people in our best camera bag guide. It’s relatively small, yet it can still fit a DSLR or mirrorless camera, extra lens and a small tripod (with a loop to secure it) in the side pocket. There is a luggage pass-through strap, padded laptop storage area and a bogie on top for everything else. The best part is that it comes in a ton of fun colors.
