You probably werent guessing you were about to stay in Turkey for 1.5+ years when you entered to Turkey as seen in this video, right guys?? Lol
I haven't seen Lada 90s
Beaches are usually empty & people live in the bigger cities/villages or around Sofia & come back during the summer.
This Video 1 year today, time fly's.
The think at 5.27 is called trolley 🚎
Basically it's an electric bus
I miss to know where You are. Names
Do I know what a Lada is?? Da! 😆
lada… omg, I love you guys! lol
Haha, my dad had a lada😂😂
This is not the main border pass between Bulgaria and Turkey, that's why its not that busy….
My Bulgaria <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
Hi Chris and marriane I have watched a lot of your blogs mainly when you were locked down in Istanbul I love turkey I would like to watch your blogs from day one in the right order how do I do this take care all the best charlie newcastle x
Is there no way through the central or north europe route to Russia and further east.
By the way the black sea ris quite blue.
Because you're in a middle of a global pandemic you genius.
We only done Sofia .
Not the greatest experience.. but still an experience 🤣
Great to see more videos f the country through your eyes and experiences.
FYI The tram was a trolly bus, a tram runs on tracks. Great video.
Chris trying (and failing) to knock a few years off his age 😃 everyone over a certain age knows the iconic Lada! Great video guys !
Bless you for saying 20 mph instead of kilometers!! (but you still said liter, so I'm back to not knowing what you're talking about! :). Thank you for showing us so much of the countryside!
dude these bars arent abandoned and the complexes arent abandoned, its offseason on the seaside and that's how it looks now, come back in June and it'll be unrecognizable
5:21 it's not a tram it's a trolley bus🙂all Black Sea complexes are shut till May but with Covid 19 who knows this year, I am a Brit living in Sofia Bulgaria for the past 14 years
Despite what some misinformed comments suggest, those apartments of that size and location are not owned by Russian Oligarchs. They might well be owned by Russians, Bulgarians and other nationalities including Brits and Israelis, but the summer season on the Black Sea is short, 01 July to 31 Aug officially and in March, the resorts are DEAD. The bars would normally become alive again in mid to late June, but who knows about this coming summer. The fireworks you saw were to celebrate International Women's Day celebrated on 08th March. You were following a Lada NIVA 4×4 (I have two of them), very rugged, but very thirsty as permanent 4×4. You took the smallest border crossing at Malko Turnovo and hence it was fairly quiet. It is green now during spring, but during the long hot summers the green will turn to a dry brown unless watered. You're lucky that it was so quiet as actually it is no longer allowed to park your camper on the beaches outside of recognised camping sites. It wasn't a TRAM, it is what is called a Trolley Bus. Good luck as I have no idea how much longer you will be in that Istanbul parking lot.
Hope you guys are ok. You look quite cheery but you were when we were at the wedding. Fingers crossed for us all.
My Grandad had a Lada… He was a bad driver and used to ride the clutch all the time. He needed a new clutch in his cars every 2 years.
It's not the holiday season and there was a partial lockdown with all bars and restaurants closed. The summer is everything in Bulgaria, many people work in other countries before summer.
It’s a seaside in off season
Should you not be on lockdown ?
Hi Marianne and Chris
The beach stop looked like the people were already in Lockdown ahead of the apocalypse lol
The local dogs had alerted each other of Mariannes arrival
The roads looked clean and in very good condition
Sending good vibes
