Great information,
Thanks so much,
Cheers!!!
Australia is in total lockdown. I suppose I could kayak to Papua New Guinea, catch a tuna boat to Greece, and claim asylum…
The place of divers or diving.
Useless video. The world is locked down over a non-existent virus. Tell us where we CAN go.
Great info. Love your channel. From Covid free NZ
Great information ๐๐ฝ
Nice video aside from airfares which are high cost of living abroad particularly in third world countries are far less than the US where oil and lumber costs have increased 100% in 100 days. Food costs and shortages particularly meat are very high a decent steak cost me $24 a pound in Gulf Coast US. Real estate prices are up 50%+ also. If this gets worse I am headed back to Ecuador Colombia Peru or Brazil.. Maybe all 4. Colombia is always cheapest.Spirit Air flies cheaply FLL to Colombia in 3 hours a great place to start.
It's cheap because you can't go anywhere

Iโm looking at traveling the world ๐ with my girl …. we both donโt have family so itโs just us … my question is ,,, do you have โโ base point place โโ that you go back to from time to time … I know you have been traveling for years ,, we are wanting to do it to … my thoughts are to have a place that ,, from time to time we go back to ,, somewhere that we keep are personal stuff at …, ,,, Please let me know what you recommend… Andrew
Hi Dan , thanks for always giving great info . power on :=)
Hi. Thanks. Any idea what it cost to put my sailboat in a marina slip in any of the country's you have seen?
I live in rural southern illinois and it's pretty cheap here. There's tons to see! Trees, corn fields, the occasional barfight, 300 lbs of Trump 2020 flags (No. They haven't taken them down yet. ๐), and tons of roadkill in the summer months. If you smell weird chemicals coming from a seemingly abandon house, it's best not to linger. It's prolly just ol' Walt n' Jessie cookin' up a southern snack.
Great concept! Is this what your book's about? The Slow Travel World-Highway?
Airlines are very high now, but everything else but food is much cheaper.
Cheap Charly..Be mindful.
Great video Dan! I need to do this! I've been all over SE Asia, but only for 8 weeks at a time at most. I have a bunch of rental units that I get income from every month, so I just need to get those managed by someone and I can go!
I have a couple of questions Dan, having watched several of your videos. First, economical accommodation is often not very secure. Do you carry your camera and computer with you when ever you go out? That would be inconvenient and sometime as risky with respect to theft or damage as leaving it in an insecure apartment. Second, you obviously spend a lot of time in hot countries making videos. How do you find cool comfortable places to work on your computer while trying to keep your budget down? Thanks
Dan you certainly have it down to a science. Thanks for sharing with us!
Good info Dan thx!
Great video lots of good information Iโve watched a lot of your videos and I think this kind of travel is for me.
Great videoโฆIโm 68 and have enough $$โฆjust waiting for COVID to exitโฆhope itโs over soonโฆ
Really appreciate your videos .. I'm in Hoi An currently, can't wait to see where my next exit will lead.
This was great!
Iโd be very interested in seeing your global train trips!
Housesitting: I have looked into this over the years I find that many house sitting opportunities have high requirements such as they are looking for couples or people to manage livestock or horses people who are chefs or can run an entire estate staff people who can do landscaping etc. Rarely do they want a simple responsible single person who cannot offer much more than minding the property while the owners are away.
"Slow Travel World Highway" – what a great term.
Thanks for the world tour Dan and Qiang. You cover all the parameters one needs to make a decision on how and where to head out. As I mentioned one of your books would help get a clue on the country one wishes to visit. I know some Mexicans who have returned from the US because they are retired now. I see that increasing. Would be interesting to know how big that is. I have a 27 year old friend who is now living in Tecate MX and has gotten a drivers license and he does not have his residency card yet. Things are changing. All the best.
Very informative Thanks Dan!๐๐ด
Also I have Lupus and take several medications daily, is it possible to still achieve this and do you know how I could get my meds cheap while traveling?
What do you do when your passport is about to expire? Also do you need to get Visas for different countries and how do you do that? Thanks
Dan this video shows everyone that the lifestyle you and Qiang are living right now and have been for many years is just a choice away. We can all make a choice to live like this just by following the steps you provide. You have made it easy for us because of all the work you have done ahead of time. Thanks guys. โค๏ธ๐จ๐ฆโค๏ธ Cheers!!!
So much travel, life wisdom packed into 16:47. I would like to add, don't plan too much, don't book ahead, travel one way, travel carry on, and don't be afraid. I have never been robbed or had a serious injury travelling to over 100 countries since 1985. If you take the time to listen to Dan's advice, you will save money, time and grief!!
Hi Guys, as always thanks so much for your info to help me plan my future. I have been watching your vlogs now for a couple of years and they are the best i have seen with so much content I can draw from to plan my own travels. Just need to find a beauty like Qiang to share it with ๐ Safe travels to you both and thanks again.

It's very cheap, and long as the place lets you in in 2021.
Almost anywhere i try booking tickets to usually have 800 to 1.5k for one way plane tickets. Now hyper inflation and Central banking systems are looming to make everything shoot up atleast double in price tags. Idk, it sounds like a pipe dream for us younger folk that don't have much to our names. Not that I don't have money saved from CivEng, just not enough for this ridiculous state of being.
For cheaper travels, everyone has the capability to Astral Project and eventually be able to travel out of body to almost any location. That takes some discipline, but so does almost anything worth doing in this reality. Ambrosia for thought. . .
